I was thinking it is a bit too Withnail and I. UK made clothes for the UK market come with all these silly connotations we all have hardwired in. Most of them are warped and a bit off but hey, one cant help those thoughts popping into ones nut.

That's why American clothes seem such a good bet. I can avoid these connotations. That's not to say other people will have others for what I wear. But who gives a stuff what they think.
