Hi everyone,
this is me selling this one:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140893738535
It's an Aquascutum soft unlined 2 button, patch pocket grey herringbone blazer.
It's a beautiful jacket worn four times and only being sold because I have got the size up which fits better.
It's not Ivy style per se but may be of interest. I have put a lot of information into the item description at eBay to help consideration and twelve high resolution photos.
Please don't think I'm indicating this is purist Ivy style as it isn't, it has light darts and twin vents but in almost every other regard it is, soft in structure, notch lapel, herringbone, soft rolled lapels (obviously not 3/2).
It has received positive comments from colleagues when worn, especially a couple who are very Mod influenced. I mention it here as it might be of interest for some like me as part of mixing styles together.
Thanks Mark.
Few larger sized Pendletons.

I saw those two tone weejuns in TK Max on Saturday Tom, you were right, hideous!
I also saw a pair of Eastland Blucher mocs for £43 in clearence . Although they had a camp sole
the leather was worse than my modern Beans in my opinion and i noticed that they were
made in china!
Also spotted the Eastlands with the camp sole, thought they might be an ok beater shoe, but not my size anyway.
On the subject of hideous shoes in TK Maxx:
fabric basketweave dirty buc style thingies (Dockers by Mark McNairy), red rubber (not crepe) soles
brown suede tassled Sebagos with vile criss-cross detail on the sides of the strap, Vibram soles
both around 9 EUR
quite good for kitchenware at the moment though...
Got a decent Oliver Sweeney plain grey overcoat there last week - stereotypically a city banker or 60's East End Gangster style to wear over my dress suit next week.
They seem to have loads of cheapo Ivy copy blazers that look really nasty, you know the sort, patch pockets, elbow patches, horrid fabric. I doubt the people 'designing' them even knew they were copying Ivy style as they are a rip off of something such as French Connection or Ted Baker which themselves are copying.
In the Nottingham big TKMaxx the decent shirts seem to have all gone now, good coats but poor on almost everything else. There were some okay looking non-Gloverall duffle coats but I didn't check the brands. I too noticed Bass Weejuns there in plain black but I am loafered out at present.
So, that's why they make those El Salvadorian Weejuns dishwasher proof!
It's worth a shot. I have a shiny pair here that I haven't sorted yet. Any idea on how to get rid of that shine (other than the labour intensive 'Weejun Hack') are most welcome.
Knockabout tweed. Good for the price I suppose if you're looking for a bit of tweed for winter. 39L

^ Couldn't resist that one, thanks. I recently had to retire the same model due to a cuff needing turning, let's hope this one lasts a bit longer.
^^I was wondering if it was your size ,i was going to pm you.
I find shirts are a real lottery, with some I buy being on the verge of retirement (or worse), others having plenty of life left. I often consider giving up, then I get one in decent condition and I continue. I think this one could be ok.
It certainly hasn't got the dreaded Makers with small collars syndrome, which really consitutes false advertising.
