On the lookout for a charcoal gray flannel fabric with burgundy pin stripes. Any suggestions?

Never fussed about getting presents I just buy what I want when I want really. I am treating myself to 4 suits for Christmas though. A heavy weight pale grey DB flannel, a 3 piece tweed, a three piece blue nailhead and a Bespoke DB light navy with rope stripe.
I asked my wife to get me a Gold Sir Winston Churchills Flem spoon. tie slide just so I didn't get anything I didn't want but Im paying for that anyway really.

^^ I have a similar approach and will be treating myself to jumpers - Fair Isle, Norwegian and a submariner's heavy polo. My wife usually buys me cufflinks or colognes from Trumper's.
considering buying an ascot to wear during the xmas season .. my father used to wear one religiously in the heyday .. slightly concerned about aging playboy connotations ..
fruity.

Re. Ascots
My house gets quite cold in the third floor (where I have my computer) during winter.
If there's going to be a lot of work using the computer, it'll either be a turtleneck or an ascot to keep me comfortable. The ascot wins almost every time because it does not entail a change of shirt. As a matter of fact, when I put it on the main objectives are to inhibit air flow from the shirts open neck and to make sure the ascot lays over my anterior chest to keep it warm. If you wrap it right, it'll only show as a flash of color under the undone top button of the shirt.
The ascots use and misuse are subject to the same dynamic as the pocket square. A practical accessory with a slightly decorative aspect soon metamorphoses to a variety of manifestations, some more grotesque than others, to the point where even its practical use seems like an affectation.
There's a time and a place for everything. Relaxing at home during winter in an old house where parts are not centrally heated wearing an ascot and making sure you have enough whisky in your glass is not only helpful, but the only reasonable way of navigating the day comfortably. If guests come, that's how they will find me.
