Aye, its been out for a couple of years and tied it in with Elvis to celebrate 50 years of him first wearing it in 1962.

Again with Hamilton when they keep to the black and silver dial quartz version and the automatic version they are exceptional watches, but with the XXL Elvis versions they just look exactly like the King in his bloated Vegas days. If that was the design brief, then well done to them, if not.....

Re: Should I wear a watch or do a Cameron?

hmm so i got a quote for my watch .. they want £75 to replace the broken crown .. but get this .. £200 to do a service .. and i cant get the replacement without having the service .. so £275 which is almost what the damn thing cost ..

i think the only solution is to put it in the road before a big double decker comes past .. that will teach the buggers ..

i have been doing a cameron for about a week .. i have found travelling san watch affords one the opportunity to strike up conversations with young women with the classic 'do you know what time it is' without looking like a nut when she spots a watch on your wrist .. so far so good.

Re: Should I wear a watch or do a Cameron?

Update: so i got quoted the high price i expected (not massive nominal cost, but 2/3 of the rrp of the watch which was in the hundreds). ive not worn a wrist watch since and feel more relaxed generally .. when your wearing one you are conscious of the passage of time, makes you do things to a minute schedule, now i only check the time when i really need to and do everything i need to at their proper pace. i suggest ditching a wristwatch for everyone for a less stressful life .. dont be a slave to time!
