About this are many clichés.
For exemple Catania,in Sicily is said "the Milano of the south" for the great industriousness of its inhabitants,
while in Ferrara (north Italy) every year is the national rally of laziness.
Depends...is like said that all Scottish are stingy ( and i knew a amiable Scottish that is very generous and spendthrift).
