Can we move this to another thread?  Enough, for fuck's sake.  Thanks.

http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?121018-Off-to-the-Ballet

A magnificent thread in which attending the Nutcracker, an activity about as sophisticated as dining at the Olive Garden, becomes an occasion for galloping class anxiety and terrible advice all around.

Re: Inane Post of the Day 2012: The End of the Sartorial World Edition

The Nutcracker is the iGent's social high point--culture, performing arts center, Russian music,  ballet, an orchestra (maybe), a date (maybe), a bunch of other people dressed up just like in church, intermission, clean and warm bathrooms, very few women wearing team jerseys...obviously a major occasion, second in importance only to the wedding on the beach. The rest of the time their life is spent watching TV and tailgating.

I was dragged to the Nutcracker as a child, and that was plenty. Only way I go again is at gunpoint.

Cappelia is about the most entertaining of the mainstream ballets for the non-initiated.

I went to see a Mr Pickwick last weekend, 45 minutes of comic modern dancing for kids and it was fantastic.

Re: Inane Post of the Day 2012: The End of the Sartorial World Edition

l spent a couple of hours reading about Anthony Cleverley shoes and not one single article was worth reading for two reasons: 1), poor information (every single article that exists on the internet) 2), false information. l also searched Style Forum and every post regarding Anthony Cleverley shoos was useless also.

Some of the rubbish being spread around by a few sources are that the AC range are hand welted.
http://www.bownsbespoke.com/georgecleverleybcshoes.html

Another well known site spreading this misinformation is Will's site called `A suitable wardrobe'.

So how are these guys getting a simple thing so wrong? Well it would help if they knew what they were talking about for starters instead of babbling garbage. All the S.F posts were worthless babble too.

If you look at the Cleverley website the truth will be revealed if you know what to look for. They do state a difference between the Anthony Cleverley and the Semi bespoke line, but it won't make much sense to your average S.F and nub who reads all the various blogs.

The only place on the internet to give the facts about Anthony Cleverley shoes is fnb.com. They are goodyear welted and can't be mistaken for anything else. Yet we still get clueless fellas like Will who try saying they are probably the best constructed rtw shoes in the world. Wtf???
