Re: crepe sole

I don't know what's up with the Man -- but I've liked a lot of his fresh designs.  I've completely missed the whole sale at Press -- is the store pretty vacant now?

Re: crepe sole

Thanks V.

I really hope that some people will chime in on whether they pebble grain Alden avec crepe or not.  I'm undecided.

I also like the British tan wingtip they make.   But I don't know what to wear with it, save some country colored togs.  I almost think navy trousers woudl work with this particular shade of shoe, but so many examples I've seen of it, esp. in Italian photos, have really missed the mark I think.

I'm also seriously considered going for the Alden version of the shoe that Vac posted.  Anyone like or dislike the light brown or taupe or whatever color it is suede chukka?  I think Alden makes with a leather sole but might do a crepe.
