Now that's a great comeback!
It's pithy, and it could be viewed as dripping with sarcasm and condescension or honest sincerity.

Bravo!

Yeah, but that's because I wrote it. His original reply was about a screen long.

Ain't it peaceful when he's asleep?

He's promised to sort us all out when he wakes up.

I wonder what somebody like him dreams of ?

I am actually an insomniac...and I never remember my dreams.

I can sort out no one, you win Ivy Jim...the "sheer brute force" of your post editing ability leaves me torn asunder.

Ivy, Ivy...
And here I was thinking the boy was capable of wit!

You say the response was long? Please repost the original, it is certainly a lot of fun.

I've told the story before, but when I was a resident in surgery they used to bring in these sleeping young guys in four point leather restraints to the emergency room. They had smoked Ketamine laced pot, and the cannabis had them sedated, but the hallucinogenic Ketamine was still on board. A favorite trick was to get the unsuspecting intern to wake up the restrained man to take a history.
The minute the restrained sleeping young men received the least stimulation they would morph into convulsive, invective screaming frothing monsters. The stunned intern would cower back in shock, relieved to be protected from the shackled beast, the rest of us would laugh.

Sadly, I just deleted the thing I'm afraid. I thought that would be the most annoying thing to do. Dan could always repost it & trust me not to mess with it ?
