Sounds great 12BB, very much looking forward to seeing these.
Great news! Best of luck to your new venture Henry. Tom's work looks terrific too.
Thank you all for the positive comments.
This is refreshing and exciting news. Likewise, can't wait to see the kit.
Its a very exciting project and i'm honoured to of been asked to help out. It's a long time since I have worked on something I could really get my teeth into, thanks for the opportunity H.
Really looking forward to seeing the shirts, ties, getting the site built and this growing from strength to strength.
Put me down for a green one 12Bar! Good luck with it, sounds great.
Am I right in guessing that the shirts will be made by Rayner & Sturges?

With FC, JS and Hardy & Johnson, there is a great temptation to say that English Ivy nuts have never had it so good. All bases covered and a multiplicity of choice. Funny thought, eh? Things are actually better than they ever were.
I must touch base with Mr. Drink (Paul) over his suit project that I went over with him one memorable lunchtime session. And then we have Rob - Always full of ideas & plans...
We have more blogs than ever & even in the US (apart from The Ivy League Look which was brilliant from day one) the standard is slowly creeping up. Plus we have the Modernist blogs who take an interest in Ivy as a part of their remit. The Weejun and Gally keep on keeping on and all is right with the world...
Facbook has its Ivy strongholds (Rob has been especially the trailblazer there) and we also have the American Vintage guys like Zach et al.
Not so shabby, eh?
The Internet also-rans sometimes have their moments too... Sometimes...
You lucky people - You've never had it so good !
Sounds cool, please keep us updated. Good luck and success!
I've stuck a bit of a teaser up in the ILSFT thread so you can see just how nice the collars are looking.
I won't have the professional pics for a couple of weeks somI thought I'd stick something up.
The more options the better.
But it needs to be Ivy to cut it. Brooks & Press are dead for me just now. Press can say they are Ivy (in fact they don't when you talk to the older salesmen in confidence) and others with a vested interest can say that they are Ivy too, but the details are make or break. The least I want are the right shoulder and collar.
Paul Smith's Ivy was a joke. Stedman has bowed out of the game altogether now.
Steadman fucked up in a real big way. They give the impression from what you said they wanted to be a ralph Lauren or something along those lines. But they failed to market any lifestyle around their brand. No one is relating to harry steadman. Its all crap. And the reason people pay big money for ralph is their marketing machine. You either come out and serve a purpose like js and 12bar and supply people with excatly what thwy want. So people dont care about the marketing. Or you go all out and make it a lifestyle brand. They havent done either.
There seems to be a possibility of a Fitzgerald's Green Shirt Cult developing here. I see Jim as the perfect Cult Leader!

I'm looking for someone to model for the Fitzgerald's Clothiers website. I'm looking for someone aged 20 to 35, 38/40 chest, 32/34 waist around 6ft tall. It's a paying gig. If you're interested or know someone who fits the bill and would be interested drop me a pm.
The age bit isn't set in stone. If you're older but look like you fit into that age bracket, or younger and look older then by all means contact me.
Post launch, I'm very happy to be snapped in FC to add to the brand's universal appeal.
^Definitely. I'm going to be relying on people being seen in/ talking about the shirts and ties as advertising as there's no advertising budget really.
