Re: Lean's tailors? & Summer fabrics

I just saw the W. Bill book of Country Collection "special" summer jacket cloth.  Great stuff.  Mixes of wool, silk, linen, and mohair.

Also loved the Harrisons mohair for tuxedos.  Think it would back a nice sports type jacket too.

True.

The Slack is even slacker than the Sack over here. Very unconstructed.
Boden calls them 'Artisan Jackets' or' Throw-On Jackets'. Very casual.

Small point: 'Artisan' is a bit of a euphemism for a lowly working-man over here. Not an artist by any means, not even that much of a craftsman, somebody more like a plumber to be honest with you.

... And yet, and yet...
A true artist may dress like a working man (Picasso & all that)...

Re: Lean's tailors? & Summer fabrics

Just picked up me new jacket from Clever Trevor & ordered another the same in a dark biscuit Cord for the Autumn.

A bit like the idea of 'crushed' velvet the new one will be in crushed Cord. A new idea to me.
