Re: Savile the Evil

l bet you plenty of celebrities and leaders are sexually abusing kids, that's supposed to be one of their specialities. Maybe he didn't tow the line so he lost the protection of the elites. Just imagine the thousands of leaders and celebs that never get exposed because they play the rules of the game and tow the line.

Just my two cents.

Re: Savile the Evil

It was all rather shocking, as Savile was revered as an almost monastic saint figure who slept on concrete floors as a hairsuit for his marathon training.

It is all rather contrived the way it has come out and certainy there was a major scandal of money pilfering at the lunatc asylum he took over running in the 80s at the request of Thatcher. He obviously said he would remain quiet on certain conditions....

A number of ageing celebs have been arrested, but that's for the titillaton of the masses.

The hushing-up, protecting the guilty and limiting the inquiry to North Wales when the investion clearly established a paedophile ring in Cheshire in the Wrexham care home scandal is equally worrying, but it is alleged establishment figures are involved here. Then of course, there's the files in the Dunblane massacre that are to remain secret for 99 years. A lot of conspiracy theories on that one.

The political elite are actually made up with Savile as it allows them to attack the Beeb and it takes the pressure off all the "Asian" otherwise known as Pakistani child sex grooming and explotation rings running amok in the UK's northern cities.

Re: Savile the Evil

This is sad stuff.  People should understand that no one should be worshiped.  From the Catholic church to simple (accent on the word simple) celebrities, we need to remember that human beings are basically self-interested, diseased and  manical characters trying to put one over on the next person.

Re: Savile the Evil

One point on Savile that few seem to notice is that, suddenly he has, thanks to Mr Plod, 152 'convictions', including 34 for rapes - for which compensation is to be sought by the (alleged) victims. I thought that trials were a pre-requisite to the acquisition of criminal convictions; moreover, you can try a dead man only in the press, on one-sided accounts, according to the testimony of people who might well be thoroughly unreliable or dishonest (or both) maybe all engaged in some loose conspiracy to supplement the DSS benefits that many of them receive - certainly many of them now, thanks to some toad of a lawyer, are on the make (but "It's not about the money" - yeah, right!).  Savile might have been guilty of some of it, all of it or none of it. It is just plain wrong, for the sake of civilization itself, to 'try' him in this way. I find it impossible to believe that not one single case ever penetrated Savile's supposed 'cover' and 'protection'. Moreover, if modern Britons really believe that they are governed by people and smirked over by 'celebrities' who behave in this way, maybe it's time to re-evaluate your place in the world and your right to preach to the world about great western democracy!

Poor old Blighty is now ruled by the jack-boot just as effectively as if Adolf had won. Quite sickening to watch just as the very last of The Few drop off the twig.

Re: Savile the Evil

Savile may have been protected as part of a far wider abuse ring.

What is most sickening, well not most, but such a knowing and sick thing to do, is have a show called Jim'll Fix It, as now it appears he was a 'fixer'.

Arrives unpressed and minimally packaged.

Re: Savile the Evil

I noted with some surprise that some few of Savile's alleged victims were adult men. I should have thought that would be difficult to pull off with impunity, but I gather that Savile had been a professional wrestler and remained very vigorous into advanced old age.

Sir Jimmy sure was "omnisexual." I am not sure whether it is ironic or appropriate that among his other honors, Sir Jimmy was given a papal knighthood by His Holiness JPII: Sir Jimmy was certainly "catholic" (with a small "c") in his sexual tastes!
