That must be a makers right? It looks a hell of a lot like the M&S OCBD I have, is your similar to that shape and collar Liam?

A better man than me will be able to tell you if it's a Makers. I'm no expert.

But it does look to be a BB or a very similar style maker. 6 button front, rounded pocket with chevron stitching, decent roll (maybe expect a bigger /longer points on collar?) all say BB to me. But I would need to be put right on other details I don't see.

oh dear... I wonder then... I really like the collar, but more so the whole fit of the shirt is lovely, the placket looks great too.

Now I look at that top pic. Is the bottom of the pocket actually rounded? I'm not sure. And that distinctive line of stitching on the cuff?

I thought the purist had a bigger collar than Brooks, I still don't think it a measly collar, to me it is near enough perfect, well, without a tie, I see the appeal of a fuller collar with a tie.

The shirt Mike Bloomfeild is wearing doesn't look like a makers to me, as Yuca said the collar is just too small. The Sero purists that I have have quite a different looking collar to brooks, more akin to what the Mercer collar looks like to my eye, but I don't own a Mercer. That shirt AP is wearing looks weird, like collar point buttons are spaced too far apart.

I've got about a dozen Purists in all cuts and styles from salmon, orange, pink, mint, and blue oxford, and varying striped cottage cloths, to purple, navy, red, and many tartan flannels, and every stripe of madras. From my experience, the collars are never as distinctive (typically shorter) nor pronounced as '60s Makers, and the roll is way more subtle. They are also generally a more tapered body than the shirt Bloomfield's sporting.
