It needs a steam but you can still make out that lovely bell shaped collar roll above.
Worn the other night with a Pendleton shawl cardi and midnight blue flannels.

^ Very nice indeed Oliver.
I see which one you got. That place has me tempted now once again!
Best US retail men's shop around!
Vintage aside, I don't bother with any others and give them all my business.
I took in a huge haul of flannels over the winter holidays and picked up about 5 or 6 Purists in the lot. I haven't seen such good looking collar rolls with the exception of golden-years Brooks on any other shirt. The many deadstock Purist oxford weaves and madras cloths that I've picked up over the past couple of years are great but certainly don't stack up to this. I wonder if it's the weight of the fabric?

All Sero Purists are on sale at O'Connell's right now btw - 20% off!
How did we loose Billax to that place? It's like when Van Persie went to Man U all over again.
He posted over there first and I think he only posted once or twice over here.
I'm still upset.
He posted a good bit of info on trouser taper and hem measurements in the style for today thread just after that picture. They would probably be of interest to you.
That isn't Ivy Jim though, that is the great John Gaul, one of the authors of the Ivy Look... all Ivy no jivey. Nice pic of him too.
Interesting Billax gave "Norm" a bit of friendly advise on No break and cuffing.
The Guy is the real deal and i am a bigl fan ,wish he would post here.
I do love everything about his look except a lot of his footwear or his critter tie
he wears today.
Billax to Norm and another newbie
" For sixty years or more, the standard trouser fit for the Natural Shoulder/Ivy League look has been "Cuff, no break."

I salute him.
Yes, I know those clenched fists anywhere...
I don't remember Billax being insulted?
I wore an aquascutum mac today, in my mind i looked that good.
ha!
Of him?
^ Yes
I don't remember that ever happening to Billax? Did you mean Velux?
What about Mr Apollo? Did anyone say anything bad to him?
