Shoes for sale, Wildsmiths & C&J's

Greetings,
Not sure if I'm allowed to flog stuff here or not, it's been a long long time since I last logged in. If not, moderator please delete this post!
Selling some shoes and I thought they might be of interest to members, these all belong to my father - sadly they're a size too small for me. All sizes are correct to the best of my knowledge, my Dad has always been a near perfect size 8 1/2 E UK. The odd-ones out are the Oxblood loafers, the Tree's are marked as a 7 1/2 E and they look a size smaller than the other two pairs. Prices all in Euro's. Reply here or better yet send me an email - timDOTesplanATgmailDOTcom

1. Black Wildsmiths apron with split-toe, size 8 1/2 E. Handmade in the early 1970's. Probably need re-heeling, right toe is also worn & has blakey fitted. Otherwise in outstanding condition. - €175

2.Brown Wildsmiths apron with split-toe, size 8 1/2 E. Handmade in the early 1970's. Look to be virtually unworn apart from a little wear on the left hand heel. - €175

3. Oxblood Wildsmith "Penny Loafers" Size 7 1/2 E - I assume that from the lightness and suppleness of the leather that these are calf-skin, leather is showing signs of wear and tear including a couple of minor cracks & blemishes and the rubber heels could do with replacing, still an eminently wearable and unusual pair of shoes however. Supplied with original Wildsmith shoe-tree's also.  - €135

4. Crockets & Jones "Chepstow" Boots in Tan gross-grain. Size 8 1/2 E. I remember my dad buying these in about 2001/2002 - he wore them twice and then never wore them again. - €150

5. Crockets & Jones "Pembroke" Long-wing brogues in Tan gross-grain. Size 8 1/2 E. Brand New in box. Bought at the same time as the above, I'm assuming he never wore them as he didn't like the boots! - €200

Thanks,
Tim.

You'll need to have a reality check on what you are asking for those IMO.

Great looking shoes. The market will determine a fair price imo.

Re: Shoes for sale, Wildsmiths & C&J's

In all honesty, I thought they were a fair price (re-read it, prices are in EUROS not pounds).. Given that a new pair of Wildsmiths (if you could actually get "proper" Wildsmiths, rather than re-badged C&J's) would cost you 3 times that. These were made for him by the way, I should have said that. Maybe I'm being a tad optimistic on the C&J's but the reality is they're effectively brand new and those go for £350+
They're headed for fleabay shortly anyway.

Cheers Jim - I'll bet they do, the place is as dull as the flocked wall-paper they covered it in. Hope your well an' all.
