STOP PRESS: The word (just in and yet to be confirmed), on the i-ways and by-ways is that, despite his long-term support of a certain site (even in the face of wiser counsel), NJS has been consigned to Devil's Island by Frank 'Fats' Futtock and 'Our Thing' Enterprises! Apparently, some wise guy has a 'frozen frame' of an exchange of the site's posts and Futtock's ultimate position, which was a vague charge of intended plagiarism by NJS, going to use Futtock or site material to write an article! Intriguing stuff and I so wish that some geezer here with site membership would look into the current state of play over there. I mean - for 'Our Thing' to make a charge of commercial exploitation!! The Old Tweed Boys' Club is a non-profit co-operative, isn't it? Or is someone creaming off a tastey profit - and those wizened, poor, little South European artisans and their peasant families (otherwise engaged in rubbing their fingers raw in harvesting 'Our Thing' olives) - do they not deserve a 100% gringo mark-up, for inexperienced i-gent lambs brought to the slaughter by the site owner - plus his 10-15% introduction fees? If not, why not? After all, the rag trade and 'the olive oil business' go manicured hand in custom glove...
