Love the dot tie. Now that's classic.

Re: Classic style - Jake Gyllenhaal

I suppose he's the latest IT boy. He was wearing a light grey flannel suit with a white shirt and no tie on CoOnan last night. He mentioned that the suit was cashmere and angora or some such.

I dont like the shoes above either but I suppose anyone who wears a a jacket and tie properly these days who is a role model is to be commended. So, good job and I hope to see Zodiac soon.

one huge problem that I am shocked everyone missed.  Look at the second picture, his shirt cuff is not buttoned.

Re: Classic style - Jake Gyllenhaal

I find the criticism of his shoes rather amusing as, had he been wearing black shoes, I would not have posted the photo!

It looks like the suit, shirt, tie, and scarf all came together inside the shrinkwrap.

Re: Classic style - Jake Gyllenhaal

I don't see why he would stand out in any way - for good or bad.  But the outfit generally looks nice.

I don't see the allure of trying to make brown shoes work with any outfit but I know that some people are rather adamant about the complete superiority of brown.
