Have you read this?
In a forum filled with so many new voices and so many original points of view it's nice to find so much to enjoy (usually I'm stuck in my little Ivy League rut & ignore most of the world as it goes by...).
Neat work Alex, first of many I hope.

It's a triumph.
One of the best articles I've read in the past few years has been the one Mr Roest put on the Uppers site, talking about clothes for the advanced modernist not wanting to be too retro. I remember thinking, although I didn't get any of the particular gear he described, that he had really identified the correct way forward.
I salute you sir.
Thanks a lot for the kind words gents, always a pleasure discussing my pet topic really......
I do appreciate everything about this site as it happens, so a big thanks goes out to Jason as well for letting me use his picture and pointing out FNB in the first place....
I hope to be able to write another piece within the not too distant future, in the meantime I will enjoy a lot of the excellent stuff written by others too....
Anyway, all the best from a somewhat tired mr Roest who's having a week's holiday....
