In my experience, women seem most interested in the Prada-boy look.
Ivy isn't going to get your laid, but at least you will have the self respect that comes from not having your partner make style choices and purchases on your behalf.
The answer to this is as varied as there are women. Impossible to answer.
One thing I will say however in my experience is that no woman likes to be upstaged dress-wise by their man.
Just being well groomed and in good shape is 80% there.
Oh dear. Best not to lip our Jimmy.
Still, I'm intrigued: what is this 'doorstep' incident you make mention of?
Yes, sound intriguing, please do tell Sammy.....
We are waiting with rapt attention.

Seeing as all women are different, just as men are, there really is an infinite arrays of correct answers. We need context. What's going to work in the Ozarks won't really fly in Hong Kong. And then the millions of subsets of those locales. This could go on forever.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...
Any guy who thinks his clothes are going to get him laid is best left to his own confused conundrums.
The idea that women in general like this or that belongs to the inane thread.
I was going to say that as long as you smell clean it's a start, but in my younger college days I went through phases where neither myself nor my environs smelled remotely clean yet my batting percentage did not seem to deviate from my norm. Just caught different types, so to speak.
