Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

I must say I'm enjoying all this no end...

From my postbag:

"Now then, you can't ban Formby without serious detrimental effects to the forum and dare I say it, your credibility.

Absolutely, not the way to go. Any perceived grievance is wrong, that guy is sound. It's also going to drag FNB into the gutter with all the other iGent forums and blogs.

Banning him is mistake. We all make wrong decisions in the heat of confrontation, but its how we rectify this that marks us as a player and Formby remains essential to the life blood of this forum - as you do.

Best Regards,"

My reply:

"Formby is not banned - He was given a time out, then bounced back under a new name to flounce off. Similar story with the Bishop of Briggs. Spammy Ambrose has also just had a time out. All these guys first had repeated requests to stop fooling around.

These people seek confrontation, get it, then pout when it doesn't go their way.  They are all welcome to post, but not to try to deliberately disrupt Talk Ivy for their own entertainment. Let them do that on The Wardrobe.

The forum comes first, not the egos of bored people messing about.

Best -

Jim."

Nice to see 'He ain't Jack' outing himself as Dan Goodfella and showing us all that he isn't banned by doing so. That also puts his other lies into context I think. It was a guy standing in for me who posted your details online, Dan, not me. They were soon taken down & that friend didn't get to cover for me again. He also apologised on the forum. I'm afraid your disgusting comments about me provoked him rather too much. He's such a nice loyal chap.

Now, on to Spammy... Are you lonely or something? Surely there are others you could delight with your observations. I've hard all these things from others before and I still do not care. All you fellows always say the same thing - Mr Goodfella is the same. None of it moves me in the slightest.

I don't see why either of you should get to disrupt Talk Ivy.

YOU are the ones who don't get to dictate what goes on there. You are not members of that community and you both hold the members there in low esteem. You will recall calling them 'Imbeciles' in one of your recent messages to me, Spammy.  Why not troll elsewhere ?

Best -

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

I thought this current troll guide from over on Talk Ivy might be of use:

"So where are we all up to now... ?

'Jack' is Dan Goodfella by his own admission over on The Wardrobe.

Spammy Ambrose is pouting because he can't call the shots here.

Formby & The Bish of Briggs had similar issues.

Mr. Kingstonian has more dignity than to go down that route.

Rrrrrrrrricky !!!!!  is ...  ?"

Tomorrow it might all change again. I rather embrace trolls when they entertain. But I do get bored quickly...

Best -

Jim.

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

Just a 'last word' for now -  Me, musing about trolling....

My disquiet with Mr. Goodfella is entirely this:

Provoking a scrap, getting it, and then playing the victim to soothe his sense of the world's injustice to him. Poor Dan, "Russell Street" wouldn't let him do what he wanted.

Not I role should have to have forced onto me.

I also don't like the Formby / Bish of Briggs technique - 'I'm going to post bollocks on here and if you don't like it you know what to do' - Well, yes... I do know what to do - Which is just what you want me to do. I give you a 'holiday' after asking you to stop a few times and then you can scream like a girl that you've been 'banned'.

Very manipulative and pathetic in my book.

There are no bannings. Everybody knows that. The most that can be done to you is to make it harder work for you to be a pest.

And why should you have it easy?

Just don't be a pest in the first place.

Maybe ?

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

And that's why you are kicked off yet again, Goodfella.

Do pop back like you always do...

You've not threatened to rape my little sister for a while, called my Dad Hitler or claimed to have had group sex with my step Mum this week.

Such claims...

However, if you want to mess with us with all your fantasies can we also talk about certain realities too ?

... Your suicide attempts ?

My family really doesn't care about your lies. We laugh.

How much does your family laugh when you try to kill yourself ?

The reason I don't want you on any project we are involved with is that all of this isn't funny.

We don't want to be involved in your pain and we won't be.

Go back to Chensvold (Who dumped you) and leave it there.

This isn't funny.

There's clearly an absence of any other activities they'd like to be doing and that really reflects on how sad these fuckwits are. Although I do like Formby, I get the impression he does give a shit about clothes.

I only know a part of the story. Reading back he picked some stupid scraps. People do.

Wasn't Ivy, was he?

So why get involved?

Who the fuck is Dan Goodfella?

Well, this forum is fucked. The only two or three people worth conversing with are banned.

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

The "time out" for Formby was a mistake. It's an insult to someone who absolutely participated fully, was eradite and dynamic in his postings keeping the forum alive and was a gentleman to boot.

I find it an absolute showstopper that Formby was given a "time out" and the lack of support from FNB speaks volumes on the lack of integrity and the decay that has seeped into this place.

For that reason, I am out, so long suckers!

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

Tramadol is one hell of a drug...

Anyway, why turn it on Jim? Someone has to play the authority figure on here seems fair it's the person that has put most of the work in and the reason TI is here in the first place,

I don't think any forum offers as much slack as this place, you fuckwits don't know what you've got, you've been invited in, ok, Jim's section is Jim's section, but why shit on your own doorstep, just because you all feel nice and at home and you think you own the fucking place, then you strop around like kids when Mr. Father figure puts his foot down and tells you to take your feet off the fucking furniture

The whole reason any forum fucks up is because of these sad little egos that loiter round using it to underpin some form of selfworth, if people can't accept the rules, or follow what they've been asked to do, it's their own fucking fault, not Jim's, who let's face it, only pisses them off as much as they have others with a 20 min ban. Oh no, such drama!

Like I said you don't know how good you've all got it, so stop fucking acting like a bunch of kids.

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

I got to sympathise with Bops position on this.
I believe Jim reluctantly gave Formby the time out as he was backed into a corner.
It became for whatever reason a dick measuring contest between two heavyweights
And Jim couldn’t lose face or authority in his own backyard.
It’s his playground after all it’s just a shame it has resulted in important posters like Formby
And Hepcat possibly disillusioned with the whole place. This whole affair has cast a giant shadow over
the whole forum.

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

Only if you're a drama queen about it, I don't mean Hep, I just me everyone, it's sad, sad that people don't back down, shut the fuck up and move on, it's quite simple, talk about clothes, have a laugh, settle a disagrement with the thread provided, don't mark the forum with your own piss, and then think your hard done by. Me and Yuca are a prime example we often have a falling out, but at the end of the day I know he is passionate about the clothes, and although we don't see eye to eye, the forum is a better place for him being here, so why make things an issue.

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

Bop, you're a nice bloke, please don't take offense to this but you really do talk a power of shite.

I'm not turning it on Jim. Jim turns it on himself. He starts a bazillion inane threads about himself and what he's doing.  Some one gethim on Twitter or something!

This place is slack.  It's slack enough to let let things escalate to the point of having valued members banned and others walking out. It's only at that point when the 'father figure' (wtf? ) steps in and starts banning people. How dumb is that?

Stop swearing so much Bop. You're not fucking Soggy for fucking fuck sake fuck.

Jim lets things escalate because he enjoys it.  The drama is his.  He creates it. Don't get sarcy when people are drawn in.

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

I see it as Jim's surrealist method of trying to bring some order to the place, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter if you're Jim, or Dave MC, who again was a prime example of a great forum host, egos will come onto a forum and fuck it up. That's my point, the root of the problem is that, and I've seen every method used to try and keep them under control, and all it actually takes is for the person, or persons to stop being wankers, if you can think of any other way then maybe we can look to do that, I think it just comes down to concentrating on the point of the forum in the first place which is the clothes. ALl the other shit becomes background noise.

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

Half the background noise is made by the forum host. Most of the rest is made by posters who are probably the forum host.

Jim is the biggest ego here. If this place is torn apart by anything, it'll be him and his ego. You can quote me on that.

Jim has been begging people to come at him all day (albeit whilst pretending to be his robot son or whoever A.N. Otter is). Don't rush to his defence.  He could just ban me if he really wanted.
