Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

Like I said, that's his method, and I've seen every method used across loads of forums, I will defend him, because I can't see any other way to go about it, Jim is an ego, that's why the other egos hate him, that's why he does it, but it's his house, if FNB makes a move on that, then that's up to him, it is his forum. Forums implode because of egos I agree, but how do you manage one without one, even the most placid like Dave MC got taken to the cleaners by his own actual real life mate. WHo couldn't cope with not being top dog 24/7.

These people are the problem, like I said this place has got the slackest set of rules, and the problem is people have forgotten the fundamental one. Try not to be a dick. Let's face it Jim is always worse when there is someone trying to dick about on TI

Show me where Formby was being a dick. One instance of being a dick,  not in response to Jim.

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

No one is turning on Jim. I'm asking him to take a look at what's going on.  What he is doing to the place.

If we can't do that then this place is fucked.

I don't want rid of Jim.  I don't want rid of Formby.  I definitely don't want rid of Hepcat.

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

I recall a warning was made, and none of the wardrobe boys could take it, and they continued to migrate on the winds of boredom over to TI. Let's face it, fuck all gets talked about on Wardrobe half the time. If they concentrated on their bit things would've been fine, but TI has taken off, and there has just been a twiddling of thumbs over here as the gradual interest in smart menswear will wain off again for another 20 years. It's just a bunch of bleating and moaning old men half the time, Formby is different, a cut above he loves his clothes, and I think it was silly that he kept on a collision course with Jim, and is Jim a dick for goading them? Probably but like I said, what method works as soon as someone decides they're more important than the host's wishes.

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

I'll take that as you saying you can't find an instance then.

Saying the 'wardrobe boys' is absolutely worthless.  You're always lumping them together. Jim does the same.  It's as stupid as certain members lumping together the 'modculture lot'.

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

Well it was really, Sammy who doesn't give too hoots on Ivy, Bish, Kingy (the exception) and Formby. I can happily coexist with all of them, and I'd go as far to say I like most of them. But if I had done the same, came over here derailed half the threads with inane shit, just for the sake of entertaining myself, I really wouldn't be surprised if FNB told me to piss off in no uncertain terms. And again, no one has actually been banned longer than a few hours, it's sad, sad that Jim acts like it, sad that people can't just stop being tits. But there you go. Some people shouldn't be given the grace of free communication.

Hello Formby, why did you continue to act in a way you were asked not to? Did you think it was unfair to be limited on the forum?

Actually do we all think we can just do what we want?

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

That's my point, were you actually being bullied? Or asked to stop doing something? I think typically if you don't like the way someone is, don't go round their house.

Also please don't think I have a problem with you, other than you were asked to stop, and you didn't, you knew what would happen, it happend. I'm not saying you should've got a warning, I like talking to you, but it isn't my forum. THis is my point, if I said what I wanted to on FNB, and it upset FNB, and he said stop, and I carried on, would you be surprised by that? There has been many times I've just had to say to myself I don't like the way people are on here, but you jsut leave it, and get on with talking what you want to talk about, not go out your way to make it worse or cause further issue. Any of us can do that, the problem is the ones that can't stop themselves, not the management, a bouncer only starts getting heavy handed when the patron over steps the line. It's not down to the patron to decide where that line is, either accept it, or leave.

I don't think Jim has been guilty of kicking someone's head in for no reason, and not at least without any warning.

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

I see it as chicken before the egg, where as you're calling it the other way. And I think he only ever worked in response. This hasn't been a week long thing, it's been grumbling along for ages. I think it came from a disrespect of TI from other members of the forum, which I don't think has been solely aimed at Jim, and I'm not talking about me either, I'm talking about people enjoy a particualr style, and others finding fun in that. I could go over the Fedora Lounge and have a whale of a time telling them they're sad, but I don't, now the execution maybe different from some on here, but the theme is underlying, just stop being dicks, let people get on with what they enjoy, especially if you have to share a forum concerning itself with different styles. And the worst of the people on here seem to have actually no real interest in clothes anyway, I don't see you as one of them, but I do see you as looking down on things, which is fine, but I look down on a lot of Mod style, but I don't go on to MC and give them gyp.

Re: Which clothing style do women prefer?

My ideal is not people are banned but they learn where the line is and what is beneficial to all of us. Not just to please themselves. I don't like the shoes posted in the wardrobe, but I respect it, I don't like a lot of the things that go on, but I respect them and don't come wading in with, oh they look like shit, why do you wear those? That type of thing needs to be avoided, but some people can't stop themselves, because ultimately they are in fact dicks, and are probably on forums because no one in real life actually wants to talk to them .
