Getting old members back
We have lost a considerable number of members over the last few months. However, after the FNB spring revolution, we have had the necessary regime change. How can get the likes of Gilgamesh back? Could the new moderators send them emails?

Internet posters are interesting: They are usually more into posting than the subject they post about. Once that behaviour pattern is disrupted seeing who comes back for more is always interesting...
Another observation is how much they will defend the 'reputation' of the phony names they post under....

l'm going to email all the shoo boys and try getting them over here for some serious porn and conversation. All we need is five or six good posters and things will take off. All the old rivally is long gone so l reckon we can get some blokes to come over here.
Eventhough Gil was an old softy and not a Buff's Bastard, l actually do miss him.
Sick of nothing happening here.
Been having server problems here for a long time. Most times l can't even access the forum. lt vexes me.

I'm still around, and still reading the forum and answering PMs. I didn't follow the Jimmy meltdown and don't know what it was all about.
I've stopped posting because I'm starting to find the iGents a bit of a bore, and that makes it much less enjoyable to deride them. There are only so many ways you can make fun of guys who want to buy size 6AAA wingtips and have them stretched into dressage boots. I expect that my interest will wax again at some point.
On the other hand I've been reading the Fedora Lounge regularly but they lack the hysterical middle-class hubris that makes the Andylanders such good targets; you feel a bit mean making fun of the hat guys for being physically grotesque and illiterate.

Some posters just get tired of it. NJS was one example but I am sure there are lots more.
I miss Rip Rig in Talk Ivy. He more or less was Mr. Talk Ivy for a long time. Not sure what went on there. Some in fighting maybe.
