Re: FORUM FIGHT CLUB

You're a nice guy Dave but sometimes it's like dealing with an old queen.

Re: FORUM FIGHT CLUB

That may be true.  I wouldn't know, as I'm unfamiliar with old queens.

However I do not believe that snide is my style.  I prefer to make my opinions clear.  (Perhaps you're confusing snide with sarcastic?)

If you want to make criticisms of people you should be able to justify them.

Re: FORUM FIGHT CLUB

There is a thing called impressions and my impression is you are a precious, and do like to stick a little snide knife in when you can. You old queen.

Re: FORUM FIGHT CLUB

Or was that an obscure reference to my fondness for pink shirts?

Re: FORUM FIGHT CLUB

Nowt wrong wearing pink, or being gay, but acting like an old queen describes something a bit different.

To repeat: I make my feelings clear - that's not being snide.

Re: FORUM FIGHT CLUB

Oh god you fucking annoying twat, do you expect me to go back through reams of pages to find the exact points? Yes you probably do because you are that fucking pathetic. One I can remember off the top of my head was wishing me success with the new forum, a very pure form of snideness, according to the dictionary definition which you probably have pinned up on a corkboard above your PC, you pedantic twat.

Yes you are snide, wet, precious and many other qualities I would describe as being 'bitch' like.

(examples of you being pedantic to follow)

Re: FORUM FIGHT CLUB

And what's all this about someone having a 'vicious pop' at you?  No one I've asked (admittedly only 2 people) knows what you're referring to.

(To be fair, we could have all missed it, I suppose.)

Re: FORUM FIGHT CLUB

I decided against working with Jim because I didn't like the way he acted after he got demoted, I wanted a clean break, but Jim doesn't know when to stop. He wanted to make it a two fingers up, but I respect many people on here, and didn't like that kind of tone, I didn't want it to reflect on how I viewed this place. I've got nothing to pedal, I just wanted people to talk about the clothes I liked, a side note to this is to expand out of Ivy, and TI isn't the place for Americana, just in the same way I don't think it should be about 'with a twist' Ivy, or Italian stuff seeming to get a bye because it is natural shouldered. I don't think you should try and make a forum more like your taste if that's not what it is for.

Also, the other person I'm looking to work with doesn't deserve the baggage that comes with Jim when they are willing to put some much time and effort in, and I feel the only reason they want to help is a genuine love of the clothes, this person has also shown an interest and support in me, as long as I've been hosting my own blogs etc. And I also believe they are one of the most knowledgable and genuine people I've met online. Jim's game is different than mine, and he deserves his own home.

So there you go, it's not a popularity contest it was about respecting the people on here that I like. As well as looking to move my interests along without having to put people like Woof off. As they seem to not like the broader Americana on TI. Which I completely respect and understand.

Bop & Yuca definitely a love that dare not speak its name.
There is so much pain in the world how can we deny true love.
Man & Woman ,Woman & Woman, Man & Goat
And now traditional Ivyist & shaggy haired broader Americana dude.

Good luck with the project and now I know who its with ,I cant wait to see what you are planning.
Two of my favourite posters both good guys with exceptional knowledge IMO.
