We'll leave this open until Jim reports back after the meeting.
Thats if there is a meeting.
Then we'll close the thread.
Its ok to warm up here but best pop over to the NSFW thread where TALK JIMMY is open - with personal appearances by Jim
Cool. There will be photos too. Maybe they would be fun on this forum ?
Johnny Windsor from the JS Russell Street shop days is picking me up at 9am to ferry me back to The Smoke...
... Where I will talk & drink for the afternoon.
Not much more to it than that.
Certain mates will be there & I have Ivy presents for them from my stash.
Under the new manners here in future all this Ivy promotional stuff will be on NSFW.
WASP101 is keen that I write a piece for him next - Maybe I'll link it here ? One for The Mods to decide.
Best -
Jim.
As if I ever go outdoors !
Well I've rounded up a posse...erm...well 1....
Tom H - carpetter to the stars & fellow Ivy Ranger!!
Will there be nametags tonight or should I just holler "Oi Oi" to anyone with a button down?
It was lovely to meet you and to see Tommy again yesterday. We must all do it again soon. Various photos are out there, but I think by the time the fun had really got going everybody forgot about talking snaps.
Did Paul K. get home OK last night? By coincidence I met another random Ivyist in the Gay place John W. and I went onto afterwards: Collage-Boy hair, White T., Blue/White Seersucker half sleeve with White jeans & Bass Beefrolls. He must have been knocking 50 too. I told him I'd just spent the day at John Simons and he replied 'Well, there's nowhere else, is there?'
Paul S. was on fine form I thought. I've written a thing for him for the JS website & we're just sorting out photos.
And speaking of photos - I'll post some up as they come in from various people.
See you soon -
Jim.
Backatcha Jim..a very pleasant evening... and good to meet Woof off the list too!
Went back to Baker St with Brighton Paul after another round (could have stayed gassing about clobber all night tbh - great bloke) as I was heading back into Fitzrovia..He was obviously quite hammered but seemed ok..
Yeah all up for another sesh - some great tidbits shared in a great little boozer...
..titbits even... I'm still pissed....
Just in touch with Brighton Paul - He's alive ! A whacking headache though...
It was 3am before I got to my duvet in the end.
Good stuff - his tales & photos of his trip to O'Connells were excellent...rummaging through boxes and boxes of deadstock... like a kid in a sweetshop for everyone no doubt...
I hope nobody on the forum askes the question 'why doesn't he post here?' !
Pleasant company, although I was somewhat behind the rest of you by the time I got there. Myself, Jim and Thee Captain in attendance + several non forum ivyists.
Talk Ivy not really mentioned - clothes, music and general merriment mentioned a lot Look forward to the next time.
ha ha - yeah, he made that clear enough too..
Did you get an Ivy Summit style shoe shot?
I only once did one of those with Woofboxer & Tall Paul to take the mickey. Real people don't behave like that.
I noticed this time you didn't have your tape measure out checking people's lapel widths Jim?
That was another funny stunt wasn't it? It made for a great photo - Not sure it's ever been posted up on here ?
It tickled Jason Jules no end !
Yes I remember seeing that.
Infarct if we are not going to get any pictures maybe its time to move this thread to the celler.
Move away. There are photos but I've not been sent them yet.

Yes move the bloody thing to the bit nobody looks at. Oh what jolly japes it sounds like you had, all three of you. And the police were all over in Woolwich - you could have smashed Marylebone up a bit you tasty geezers!
