Now, time to work on launching "Talk NSFW" !
People came to FNB because it offered an alternative. We were trolled from the start and hated because we offered other possibilities, other online options.
Time went by and we got people coming along who were unfamiliar with what we were rebelling against and who tried to impose all the old standards onto us that we were supposed to be different from. A prim little jetty of WRENS was reaching out to the pirate ship and then finally they came on board and started dusting & hovering...
How else to respond as an 'alternative' moderator than with all the fun of the unfair ?
"No, you don't get to impose your standards here. No, you don't get to call the shots"... But a boy gets tired of saying the same things endlessly & I could never be as punitive to people as I wanted to be (slitting their noses & cutting off their ears) so I left them to thrash it all out without me.
I'm happy now. I have my rum & my hammock and my memories of the old pirate days. I support the new order, but will stay happily below decks. Sometimes you'll here me singing down here as I pee out of a porthole...
Would it make you boys happier if I started altering posts and slyly banning people who didn't agree with me?
You want edgier moderation?
The current moderators are fine. They do what mods are supposed to do.
Sammy should leave well alone.
FNB was, in the old days, populated by many who had been banned elsewhere but until recently it did not have quirky anti mods. It was never Lord of The Flies.

Pirates and Rebels!?
Cute.
LOL I think the forum does need protecting, but from whom?
Sometimes strangers are friends in disguise!
Yes I do want conventional mods. Mods are not supposed to be mischief makers. No forum could work on that basis
If you modded for years it might have been best had you continued to keep a tight ship and not used modding for your own entertainment.
The Ivy thing is neither here nor there. I have posted on certain items of clothing that I am interested in. The mods are not supposed to be doorkeepers excluding those who do not conform to their tastes. Talk Ivy is just a forum but you now want it to be an exclusive clique.
