The truth is, Jim was and perhaps remains, a brilliant ring master of circus freaks, he delivered what we expected of him and it was great entertainment...for a time, before his ego became too great for his role.

Jim was never a real moderator, he was more and worse than that, and we all knew it.

The conflict and cataclyism with Chenners: our American chums was at once contrived for ultimate effect, but also for me, as I had been banned from Chensvold's Dandyism. I initially left on my own account, temporarily, because there were weirdos posting on the "sensual nature of ironing shirts" and I thought this was a bridge too far, but before I had cooled down, I found Chenners had banned me. In saying that, I was never really a dandy, I was indeed an Ivy head, but with a twist of decadence.

And, Chenners Dandy-site had and probably still does have some brilliant characters, real dandies and a mixture inbetween. There was always an anti-Brit undercurrent with several posters, but mostly not. NJS fell out with the poster who was the DJ from LA and actually, this guy was really a great poster and eradite and witty with it, somewhat like Yuca.

As I stated that other day, I think it's time we entered into an entent cordiale with our respective extremis of Atlantic cousins - the contrived conflict was good for marketing, effect and business, but now we should alliance ourselves for the greater good.
