Britain's first bitcoin pub

http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/shortcuts/2013/jun/23/britains-first-bitcoin-pub

I never go to that part of the world. Hoxton is bad enough.

A very Guardianista enterprise. I like the comments section:-

''This place sounds like a Mecca for people with ironic specs, beards and MacBooks''

''God forbid you should have a tenner on you when you go out for a drink, eh? Far better to waste everyone's time with card transactions. That goes double for all those women with two or three huge bags that apparently don't contain a couple of quid for a coffee - GO TO THE CASH POINT!''

"Florid, smug, middle-aged golf club bore in this country I'd say. Propping up the 19th hole in deepest Surrey bemoaning the perils of immigration."

Jason Jules talks about the 'cashless society' on and off. Which doesn't mean that you're broke, you just use various cards instead.

I've lived like this for years.

What the world needs now is love, sweet love... And a jolly good kick up the harris.
