The purple DB jacket in post #18 is very nice. Not sure if I'd have the balls to wear it, but it's very pretty.

Good work. Only criticism - the lapel buttonhole - I'd prefer that it be set straight and not funnelled-out as though it is for an actual button. But that is the only criticism. Great stuff.

The expanding man: actually that jacket is not so shocking, the color is less purple and more natural.
Do you have any cloth like this in a kind of reddish-flecked, ginger-brown? I saw some once and I always regretted not opting for it. Great for such a jacket or an overcoat.
Yes Dudley,we have it as a donegal and I should have also a superb vintage herringbone scottish tweed as well,both on the heavy weight side, something like 500 grams..beautiful jackets can be made out of it.
