Rod Stewart in his early days was one who could take a song and turn a mere "cover version" into a definitive interpretation in the rock genre
I caught him on some BBC show a couple of evenings back, showed a clip with his young kids, it was obvious he didn't want them around. My father made the same mistake, I certainly won't be having kids in my sixties.
