Plod are probably too busy stealing the identities of dead children, so that they can spy on subversives and father children with those they spy on.

''What we have in this country today, then, is both anarchy (the failure of the state to enforce the laws) and, at the same time, tyranny – the enforcement of laws by the state for oppressive purposes; the criminalization of the law-abiding and innocent through exorbitant taxation, bureaucratic regulation, the invasion of privacy, and the engineering of social institutions, such as the family and local schools; the imposition of thought control through "sensitivity training" and multiculturalist curricula, "hate crime" laws, gun-control laws that punish or disarm otherwise law-abiding citizens but have no impact on violent criminals who get guns illegally, and a vast labyrinth of other measures. In a word, anarcho-tyranny''

There's always been a whiff of dog turd coming off certain police forces.
A mate of mine who was a builder once got talking to the two local idiot sons of the local drug dealer outside of a KFC. As a builder he had a wad of cash on him and flashed it out to show how much he was earning or some other petty boast. Little did he know, that these two hoodlums were under surveillance and in the covert van watching them were lip readers, who interpreted the conversation as a weapons deal going down. What followed was two years of victimisation, police harrassment and court cases. Primarily because my mate stood up against the thugs in uniform.
The fathering of children to those that they were spying on and then disappearing overnight needs to be addressed by the Child Support Agency, these agent provocateurs must be made to pay.
Papers obtained by Miss Bowman’s family suggest that more than ten of the 40 intelligence reports on her were filed by a friend and colleague of PC Ash.
No wonder they had a problem with clearing up crime!
We are facing in Sydney a gang war with drive bys in South West Sydney following outlaw motorcycle gangs' turf wars. People in suburbs free of crime have now got a mini crime wave on the doors merely because some bikies decide to move neighbourhoods
Am I the only one that thinks that we are getting too many non-clothes related threads in The Wardrobe? Nothing wrong with them as threads. Just perhaps in the wrong place. What about a 'Have your Rant about Current Affairs' section?

Moderation may move this thread, but please keep it around.
If one wanted to dismantle a society, they would be hard pressed to present a better plan than turning a blind eye on the lawless while oppressing the lawful and moral.
Similar is the US-Mexico border situation. For decades, government agencies have bemoaned the impossibility of stopping the incessant tide of illegal immigrants across a portion of river perhaps two miles long. But somehow every citizen is being tracked and observed in countless ways by all manner of elaborate technologies.
They are called 'pigs' and 'the filth' for a very good reason!
