l've always snubbed Ferragamo, but those wingtips are one of the nicest Tramezza's i've seen. Very nice.
Nearly bought a pair of Ferragamo ostrich spectator shoos last year. l was waiting for them to be dropped from $1,800 down to an acceptable price of no more than $1,400, but some bastard snagged my size before any pairs were discounted. They eventually were selling at $1,300.

Christ, that's insane! Allen Edmonds are rarely much over $350 here, and Tramezza in the $850 to $900 area!
I know there has been an uproar in Canada, as the US Dollar has weakened and settled near par with the Canadian dollar, Allen Edmonds shoes were still being sold for over $500 in Canada, but $305 or so here in the United States. I don't think this has changed much either, as I was just in Canada (Ottawa) and looked at some of the shoes in one of the higher end men's stores and found them to be overpriced. One would think there is an arbitrage there, especially since Canada and the US have signed a free trade agreement under which there should not duties or other taxes driving the price differential.
I will be posting my latest "easy come, easy go, in celebration of the absolute bloodbath on Wall Street" purchases, a Tramezza wholecut, tomorrow. They made me feel much better about being raped and abused by snivelling, panicked sellers in the equity markets..
