Linett...

So nice to see Linett get a mention on that 'Ivy Style' blog today. Along with Halrin we all wore Linett from John Simons with our Troys & Seros, our Walkovers & Buffalo Creek Traders, Sebgo, Bass & Eastland.

Royce socks, Russell Athletic Sweats, Duck Head chinos & Polos, FOTL T.s ...

Today this all sounds like a shopping list from Atlantis.

What the world needs now is love, sweet love... And a jolly good kick up the harris.

Re: Linett...

such fond memories of Kenny combining dickies with clarky deserts, the boys all wearing the RA sweats, combined with polos. The halrin chino nipple stalkers came with a warning sign 'wearing these chinos could lead to little attention from the opposite sex'. Linett were the finest jackets. I'm yet to find a comparison. I like the new shop, but the 80's RS shop really had it in terms of great brands. I still miss it terribly.

Re: Linett...

A few items on Ebay Com. still for those who remain interested.  Nothing much of Halrin, I don't think.
How did the Russell Street chaps manage the RA/polo combination in tolerable comfort?

Re: Linett...

As we see, even in the Jimmy Frosty period, threads often gained little traction.
