Much fun link, thank you Style Council.
So, is GS involved in this venture, or just a model?
TV
It is GS's venture... It's been around for about a year.... his clobber is right up my street...
He has his own thread on SF.

Cheers for the thread!
Tony, yea it's my little side pet project
The thread on Style Forum (if you can get thru all of it) pretty much has everything you'd want to know, buried in there somewhere!

Japan is def a market that I think my particular line would work well with, tho I have not had any (nor attempted) contact with anyone from there, but it's a "next on the list" deal
I've made quite a few pieces for Europeans (mostly UK, Scandinavia, France) so getting some Japanese interest is a big priority for the near future.
Good looking stuff. I like the double vent.
I wonder how the 3 / 2 roll would look? Not elegant and angular enough?
Looking at some of the photos again, GS.
Your gear is a completely different aesthetic than Thom Browne.
Probably a different target market, too.
It's all good!

I think it looks really nice, especially that it fulfills such a niche.
Sort of that '60s Brooks Brothers/Mod look.
Fabric and narrow lapels do remind me of the early '60s. It's very stylish, down to the patch pockets. Good luck on this venture.
Regards,
Steven

thanks TL! Not looking like period costume was a big concern so cheers!
That's the goods!
This is the sort of thing that gets mentioned on here sometimes -
Keeping Modernism Modern.
Thanks for providing more ways forward.
This reminds me to leave the Trads alone and keep on moving on.
I have a pair of weejuns but the ones in the photo are weejun styled Johnston & Murphys with beefroll and rear kickstay, really comfortable and I like the slightly taller toebox

Yes, it looks like Santoni makes some really nice penny loafers. Luxury quality, which is hard to find in penny loafers. I don't believe Alden and the British manufacturers know anything about penny loafers, and Bass and Sebago are more authentic but unfortunately very cheap-o shoes.
But Santoni seems to understand penny loafers.

I like your avatar Shooey.
I'd like to play backgammon with her.
