Can there be any greater luxury ?
No demanding boss or new potential sexual partner to please...
No desire to impress or impose.
No desire to display anything (Taste, Wealth, Status) other than whatever mood you are in that day...
Olive Cord Keydge.
Levis that belong in the bin.
Old Brooks shirt (White).
Glasses on a string around your neck.
Camp Mocs.
Oh the Freedom !
Who else here loves their clothes and doesn't give a rat's ass about the rest of the world, sartorially speaking ?
I'd like to think that I do.
But then again I'm aware that I don't exist in a vacuum.
And furthermore, I am posting on a message board devoted to the discussion of men's clothing.
Fair point - None of us exist in a vacuum and so there are always limits to what you can do.
No sarongs at Anglo-Catholic funerals...
But I do appreciate the luxury of (mainly) doing what I like. Give me a 'proper' job and I'd probably lose that ability overnight.
I really like capes. I think they should be standard male attire. However, I recognize that this is too far in today's world. But, while I await the arrival of my shopping date, I sitting at my computer posting this wearing a cape. Only a cape.
The joke was Cape = Cloak = Proxy. We were all 'banned' at the time ...
