So, maybe they were murdered by the 'dark forces' after all...
..
I caught a glimpse of something on the cover of the Star in the corner shop this morning. But I didn't dare look too closely. You never know who's watching.
I think they're residing in Area 51, alive and well. They love playing bingo with Elvis and Hoffa.
Who is that in your avatar WM? The girl, not the cat.
Mine is Jay Adams in the foreground and Tony Alva in the back. Both skaters who pioneered modern skateboarding.
This was taken when they were skating drained swimming pools (bowls) in Venice Beach.
Shit, I still have an old school Dogtown deck.

I'm glad I didn't say I thought I recognised her now. But I was sure I did. Not personally you understand but from TV or a film or some such.
That cat is intense. I imagine it's a right pain in the arse.
I remember once when I was about 15 sitting around the park we skated watching some 'old guy' (probably really in his early to mid 30s) skating the bowl on his own. Very determined, skating well but really trying and wearing tight jeans and a big baggy t shirt (really uncool looking at the time) and we all just watched with our jaws open like we were watching BigFoot eating out of our bins.
It wasn't that he couldn't skate. He could. It was that he was appearing to try to skate well. He was a 'try hard' to us.
I'll be honest I hated that guy. Mainly because he was honest.
In reality he probably didn't care about us. In reality we were the try hards.
I could be that guy now if I wanted. But I'd say I'm still too much of a try hard and that doesn't wash when you're 27.
Grown men do not go around on fucking skateboards.
...fuckin skateboards...
Jesus...
Am I missing something here or were Di and Dodi on a giant double-skateboard when they were bumped off on the orders of Phil the Greek, Brian and Brenda...
It wasn't even a tunnel. It was a half pipe.
It’s a good thing that like Ernesto Lynch in my veins flows the blood of the Irish rebels.”
Otherwise all this treacherous talk could well disgust me.
