Anyone heard of Sartoria Carlo Donati in Arezzo? (Not an Ad, gee)

Hi, guys, you've been helpful to my suit selection. One more thing to ask.

Have anybody here heard of Sartoria Carlo Donati in Arezzo, or even better, had experiences with him? I'm thinking about having a suit made by him. He is on the list of Italian tailors posted on this forum, but no more information.

Based my rudimentary Italian, I searched his website and found he worked as a tailor for 50 years but nothing more. I let an Italian ask his price range, and it's above 2000 Euros, so, he should be good with that price.

Any information will be great value to me.

Here's his website and I hope someone can tell me how his work is.

By the way, administrator, this is not an Advertisment, I have no interest promoting business, so if you want to delete the post, talk to me first.

Grazie mille.

2000 Euros is at the top end of Italian pricing - with the exception of the rip-off tailors that sell to the iGents.

Watch out for a tight fitting jacket like the one the tailor is wearing in the photo gallery!

Unless you live near Arezzo, you would be better building a relationship with a tailor near where you live. You need to be able to converse with your tailor to get the best service from him. It is very risky to rely on a translator.

Contrary to lies of FNB and Woofboxer, I (and most of the other "Buff Bastards") have been banned from posting on this forum. There are only a few posters left so don't waste your time on here. This forum is dead and nobody cares.
