hi, anybody know any good cloth books to look through for a chocolate brown lambswool, angora, textured wool for a sportsjacket to wear in autumn/winter?

I second the Harrisons Moonbeam. I couldn't put it down last time I thumbed through the book.
I collected a sportscoat from my tailor made from the Moonbeam a few weeks ago. It certainly is a nice cloth both in appearance & even more so in the hand. The blend of 80% lambswool & 20% angora ensures a reasonable amount of durability but still with that ‘special’ feel.
I’d hesitate to call it a winter cloth but of course I’m judging that by the environment I’d normally wear it in. That aside, in principle I’d heartily recommend it – plus there’s plenty of patterns to choose from.
^ What sort of climate or geographic area are you in?
thanks for the advice guys, ive been through those books a couple of times but wondered if there was any grass that was greener
apologies for the late response doghouse been away on business, im based in London ... but travel quite frequently to Scandinavia for business which is usually very chilly and weather can be treacherous a lot of the year. would be great to get a jacket which is comfortable to wear in colder climes, that said most of the hotels and restaurants I frequent while over there have central heating on max which makes the whole issue more complicated.
