The Tom Bell-Drier Thread!

... So is he or isn't he?

I vote No.

Give me Joe Tradly any day over those in his shadow.

T.B-D posts from where the sun don't shine!

... I also believe that horses can poo whilst they trot along...

Tres Trad!

(I'm not even trying this afternoon & - Look! - Nobody has noticed...)

Joe T. is the Trad-Father. Fact. Get used to it.

Tom Bell-End wishes he was, but has no real authority over there. He just talks that's all.

If I have to I will call in the even-minded fair-handed Mr. Trad to the Bone to decide this.

Those of us who care about Trad won't stand for Tom.

Bring back our Harris!

Re: The Tom Bell-Drier Thread!

Let me redeem this thread -

Joe Tradly is being undremined in all his good work at the Mo'.

This is wrong.

Who's to blame?

Bell-Drier!

Join me now by saying: "Ooooh, you troll!" to Tom.

You know it makes scents.

Re: The Tom Bell-Drier Thread!

Tom Washer-Dryer would make more sense if he'd fix his miserable English and punctuation.
Unless, of course he's trolling and is trying to hide his true identity...hmmm.

Tom facts:

He eats until he no longer feels hungry - JUST LIKE A WOLF!

He watches the television sitting down - JUST LIKE A MEMBER OF THE WORKING CLASS!

See what he's like?

I have always found the term "bell-end" strangely hilarious.

Re: The Tom Bell-Drier Thread!

I once had a dream where Tom Bell-Drier clapped his hands and danced around with glee after witnessing a road accident.

You may very well say that this reflects badly on me...

... But I think it says a lot about him too.

Think about it. I wasn't the only person in that dream after all.

Re: The Tom Bell-Drier Thread!

Tom fact:

There is no proof that he is an internationally renowned drag artist.

Is he therefore merely innocent of this allegation or in fact as cunning as a fox when it comes to covering his tracks?

Only you can decide.

Nobody knows if Tom Bell-Drier gets on with his family or not...

But I'll wager he's never so much as said 'Hello' to his own great-great-great-grandmother.

Re: The Tom Bell-Drier Thread!

Fact of the day:

When thirsty, Tom often has a drink - IN ANOTHER CONTEXT THIS IS JUST WHAT VAMPIRES DO!

Now I'm not saying that Tom is one of the undead, all I'm saying is that I can't prove that he isn't.

... Quite a body of evidence we have building up here...

Re: The Tom Bell-Drier Thread!

"I ought to go back to England this year, but if I can scrape together
enough to keep body and soul on speaking terms I shall stay another twelve
months. But then I shall have to go. And I must leave all this"--he waved
his arm round the dirty garret, with its unmade bed, the clothes lying on
the floor, a row of empty beer bottles against the wall, piles of unbound,
ragged books in every corner--"for some provincial university where I
shall try and get a chair of philology. And I shall play tennis and go to
tea-parties." He interrupted himself and gave Philip, very neatly dressed,
with a clean collar on and his hair well-brushed, a quizzical look. "And,
my God! I shall have to wash."

Re: The Tom Bell-Drier Thread!

Uncle jack you raise a good point - as you know I also like English tradition - maybe if I extended the olive branch to him there would be more common ground.

I suppose he`s really just a fish out of water over there -English trad versus American trad- two diffrent things- old boy

bit like Rugby League versus Rugby Union simillar in some respects but not the same.

or baseball versus cricket( admittedly only similar because they are both long winded and tedious)

Listen Mr.Bell-Drier, come over here and chat - you don`t belong over there, join our club - I appologise for the comments above (in fact I will edit them to show you my word is true) , it`s just my way -ask anyone who knows me.

bring Sir Royston and DougNZ with you- we can make ourselves-we few ,we happy few,we band of brothers ( HenryV- that was).

leave behind the muddle and come stand proud with your fellow countrymen. -well me and Uncle jack really-unless you bring anyone to the party

In actuall fact uncle jack speaks quite highly of you- about somethings he feels you have just been lead astray by the trad wars and you have found yourself behind enemy lines.

If you`re intrested and don`t want to contact Uncle Jack- sign up here and PM me .

Together we could rule the world- actually probably not- but we could find some bloody intresting things to talk about.

Don`t regard it as coming to the dark side -regard it as treading the path of enlightenment.

my door like Uncle Jacks remains open.

I hope to hear from you soon

best wishes to you  Tom

CM
