Interesting look at presidential shoos.
l greatly appreciate the link, it is very good, but l do wish l could see his black oxford shoos.
lt would be good if there was a worldwide database where we can type in any person and we automatically get a full documented history of their shoos and occasionas where they wore the shoos and the make of shoo etc. l always wonder what our politicians are wearing and various CEOs, and l have longed dreamed of having a company that would track such people worldwide, but of course that is never going to happen. l have thought on many occasions of doing an Australian wide survey of the shoo habits of hundreds of well known people and what people in top positions wear (pics and all) and trace their shoo habits throughout their lives.
There are so many questions l have. Like...why do some highend shoo stores do well and others don't? Why aren't politicians wearing the best shoos? What shoos are CEO's wearing? Are more people buying their shoos from the highend Melbourne English store called `double monk'? Image doing a life long study on shoos and shoo markets!!!...that would be a dream...to ask thousands of shoo questions of people world wide and make it a life long study.,
Been a good day today and my mind has been on shoos today, and yesterday and the day before. Got BIG shoo dreams and have been appreciating the ones that l have and am sooo glad shoemakers stitch the soles on.
The article mentions that Truman was an "avid supporter of classic meanswear", however, I am led to believe that he was a supporter of all classic wear and did not restrict himself to only mens clothing. Can anyone expand on this?

Yeah, that picture of Obama is a swerve for sure. There's probably a company somewhere that rents worn-out shoos to politicians so they can take a 'common man' picture.
