Re: Have you lost your post office?

Gents, I thought we had an agreement and understanding than non-Ivy and sartorial topics were going to be posted on the "Not Suitable For Work...." section? This I thoroughly concur with and would suggest to the Moderators that this topic be removed to the appropriate section and there we can continue our non-Ivy  discussion.

Thank you.

Re: Have you lost your post office?

I love the idea that not only are we Jews responsible for the death of Christ, we also killed ivy.  As my grandfather said when the subway doors closed right in our faces as we tried to board-

"It's hard to be a Jew."

Re: Have you lost your post office?

Yes, there is a certain really horrible truth here... I already know quite a bit about Ivy clothes and so I'm hungry for more info from other people to add to my knowledge. In a very disgusting way I regard my fellow posters merely as cows to be milked sometimes. I only really want clothing info from them. I couldn't care less about their post offices. In between times I like to entertain myself by talking about my futon. I'm encouraged to do all this stuff by my business manager who wants me as notorious as possible for tax purposes.

Best -

Re: Have you lost your post office?

I've just realised that some people think that this is no longer my forum.

Flabbergasted - Is that the word ?

I created all this and contrived everybody else to do all the work. All the interesting posting all the moderating & all spam busting.

And I only created it all for Mr. FNB.

I wanted an Ivy forum & now we all have one. And I did bugger all to make it happen. I'm just an ideas man. I never turn back my cuffs & get my hands dirty.

As you were -

Can we have him all bloated and sad looking, as the long dark shadow of recognising the utter crapness of his music and his bands dawns on him?

Re: Have you lost your post office?

If the pic shows AR in a post office; with a post chick; him working for the post or moaning the loss of his post office, well, then it's fine. For other pics, I suggest a topic.

Or even better, a sub-forum. Structure could be: Pics of stars / Pics of Music Stars / Pics of Rock Stars / Pics of Have- Been-Rock Stars/...

Re: Have you lost your post office?

Interestingly, or perhaps not, my local Post Office was where Charles Bronson carried out his armed robbery in 1974 that was the beginning of his life behind bars. Before his brief period of freedom back in 1988, he let it be known to all the local bums and stiffs that on release he was going to turn the town into a war zone. Thankfully, he went down to the smoke for some bare knuckle boxing and smash and grabs instead.

For those of you at risk of being kidnapped and held hostage for ransom, or just a prisoner in a cell, my grandfather if he was still alive, would be able to recommend to you ''Solitary Fitness" ISBN 1-84454-118-5 which instructs you how to remain fit as fiddle whilst on the inside in solitary confinement. Legend has it, a book that is required reading in the SAS.

Re: Have you lost your post office?

I'd like to go on the record as disliking Post Offices.  Shut them all bloody down says I.  They're a thing of the past, like pretending to like courgettes and Raquel Welch.

Courgettes are bleedin' 'orrible.

Bullshit.  You idiot.  Courgettes are one of the best vegetables ever created - and I should know, I'm a vegetable connoisseur.

I was about to invite you to start an ivy-based website with me, but now I've read that, I think I'll ask Chens.

Re: Have you lost your post office?

I dread actually having to go into a post office around here to ship something.  It's an exercise in complete futility.  Always a long, slow moving line; the post maids behind the counter usually have some attitude; regardless of which of the 40 convoluted forms you fill out, it's always the wrong one; and so on.  I avoid the office whenever possible.  In the off chance I encounter a polite postal worker behind the counter, I almost want to reach over and plant a kiss on their cheek.

Re: Have you lost your post office?

Are the posts offices even working today here in the "United" States of America?  Aren't we out of business?
