Jez, No apologies needed but you are very kind and thanks.

Last year I posted a link to a nos condition Reyn spponer for Gant popover
It eventually went for a lot of money. I definitely contributed to that high fee and I know
Some of the boys were a little pissed off with me for posting it here for all to see.

There will be other shirts if this one goes above my maximum and its not like
I don’t already have enough, so no worries all round.

I will be bidding though and it could get proper naughty!

I think I may ve the owner of the Gant Reyn crossover... it was around $80-something if I recall; maybe through Fitz's Closet on Etsy?

I think I talked the price down a bit, though still too much for a button down shirt. I'm very happy with it if it's the one in question. Late 50's right? It's the only bd shirt I think I've spent more than $40 on.

Oliver I think the one you're referring to was solid blue? I don't know where  Fitzgerald of the closet found it but I was tempted.  Just a bit big for me. But definitely worth a little extra if you're a label lover!

Yeah that's the one Liam, it was a light blue oxford popover Gant-Reyn crossover... though that Reyn madras is nuts!

I'd never seen it before but I wish I were the lucky owner!
