While staring at a trucker's ass while he was delivering some freight to my office today, I noticed he had on Wranglers. I almost wanted to comment and say "Hey man, nice jeans," but he probably would have punched me right in the kisser. He left the tag on his. I also wanted to recommend the removal of the tag, but again, there's the whole punching thing...
Yup, them rowdies, always with the punching.
They are cheap plastic. But pulling them off seems a bit like emasculating them. I dunno, especially on the whites, looks a little fem without. Next I'll be wearing them with sandals, carrying a tote, poodle on a leash.

This is a great thread!
13MWZ - Progress so far:
1. Unpack and remove plastic tab from rear pocket.
2. Wash three times to soften and remove some dye.
3. Wear to pub - receive compliments from mates regarding fit and price.
4. Return home and apply soothing lotion to red raw love spuds......
Still a great buy though. Thanks again for the recommendation WM.
Is there any insights into the type of personality that puts the belt through /behind the "leather" tab or over it?
Any update on the white ones - are they white white or a bit cream/"natural"?
Could have sworn I posted something about this but I ripped that rubber label off mine right away ... like these jeans a lot ... great fit for me, I like the color after cold water soak, no detergent, a quick spin, and about ten minutes in the dryer ... good solid zipper too ....
will order a second pair ....
liked the colorful Wrangler paper label with cowboy drawing a lot ....
very enjoyable purchase so far, glad I got them, my first pair of Wranglers in many years ....
the "W" stitching on the rear pockets is cool and all the labeling I want .....
^
I'd leave that on.
Just got my prewashed tan Wrangler 13MWZ. They are definitely a lower rise than the rigid 13MWZ.
Looks like a fun store.
more thoughts on these 13MWZ Wranglers in rigid indigo:
no dye transfer at all with mine, I let them soak briefly in cold water, threw them in the washing machine to spin the excess water out but used no detergent, then put them into the dryer for 15 minutes to set the color, that was it, mine are still very dark and they look good to me ... turned the cuffs up one inch and that was it ....
haven't missed the watch pocket, enjoy the oversized zipper a lot, very glad I got mine, there's something cool about jeans that can stand up on their own and look so good and are so very cheap ... WM and Tom are right, these Wranglers do like to chafe you a bit when still stiff so beware, watch out, and ten cuidado hombre when you wear the rigid .....
I was wearing them in the Caribbean market the other night with a charcoal long-sleeved t-shirt over a faded brown short-sleeved t-shirt and navy Converse All-Stars and I realized I had never really gotten over grunge nor did I want to ...

You Meany. You'd drink his glass of milk?
I just got two more pairs of the rigid indigo, and they are different. One pair seems a completely different color. Quite a bit darker than the other. Be interesting to see how they fade.
