What is particularly bizarre is that western 'progressive' liberals have come to the view that we should respect ALL religions .. whatever they say .. even if they suggest killing other people for their beliefs, abusing women, repressing others such as homosexuals and so on. Respecting other peoples 'faith' is more important to them than other peoples basic human rights. hypocritical and totally irrational. We also have laws in the UK, various statutes on 'race hate', however a religion promoting an codified extreme form of race hate and other bigotry somehow has to be protected by the state. figure that one out if you can?

If you read the Quaran, which I have done, are rational & haven't been brainwashed through your childhood, you will likely come to the conclusion that whoever wrote the thing was a delusional, psychopathic, sadistic lunatic. the fact that these ideas have been codified and then repeated 5 times a days as well as memorised from an early age mean that this ideological poison spreads through a human mind and the result is what we see around us today. unfortunately western governments would rather pretend that a religion is not a problem, as that would be awkward for international relations with ME countries, as well as being a real vote loser amongst growing numbers of islamic immigrants.

the difference is that Christians don't take the bible literally, after the 'enlightenment', scientific thinking pushed Christian dogma aside, it's now interpreted in a metaphorical way with passages which clash with conventional morality and modern understanding basically ignored. in the West Christianity is wheeled out usually at weddings and funerals and perhaps referenced at Xmas in some obscure way but has basically evaporated into the background of life in modern society.

islam is different in that it is taken quite literally, it pervades every part of a muslim's life. apart from spitting feathers at non believers, the Quaran also acts as a sort of how  to guide to life, telling people everything from how to eat, to how to have sex, to how to dress (wonder if there are any Islamic style sites out there .. one to google I think) etc. there never was a period of enlightenment in the muslim world, they have sort of skipped over this whole stage in history. it might not be an attractive idea to many, which is why liberals have stuck their head in the sand, but unfortunately the reality of the world.

btw if I said this in a strict islamic country, Saudi Arabia for example, you lot would quickly find fruity's posts on style would be missing in a few days time.

Considering the position of women in certain alien "cultures", I am always intrigued when our Islamist chums evade our surveillance teams by dressing in a burka, badly. One might think, they had allowed the dog turd to escape on pupose, so we can zap him Somalia or in some Syrian Christian village. Let us hope so, along with the White Widow and her spawn of little horrors.
