I fished some seaweeds (or fresh), out of the east river, are these acceptable for, a New English clam bake ? Or must I, go for the Coney ?
I used to love mussells with local seaweed up in Scotland.

I'd get up early and we'd drive to the beach and get it all fresh for lunch.

Best to use sea vegies these days. The soils can't be relied upon as a source of nutrition these days. Sea vegie fertilization is essential to a balanced diet in this day and age.

The seaweed and, sprout knowledge on, this forum is , very advance. Still I worry, if it's trad because, the feeling I arrive at is more of, a metal teepee, not a New English cape .It's my belief , not so many, living in metal teepee, make a clambake, as those of the cape architecture.

I have been to many, a clambake and know, not of the seaweed. For a clam, bake, a metal teepee is op, tional.
Seaweed from, Japan, is highly nutritious. It contains, much, calcium. More than, milk.
eg - well played.
