Anyone seen or have any experience? I got a coupon in the mail and looking through the site, it seems most new stuff is no iron, which I am usually averse to.
haha. right.
Around 2004 or so, I bought some CT shirts, including some non-irons that were made of a very nice fabric that was the best non-iron I'd encountered. (Oxymoronic, perhaps.) Soft and breathable and I could hang dry them and not worry about it. I wore them until my neck got too big (another story).
Maybe two years ago I took another stab at them. The shirts I received had a texture like sandpaper and one fell apart, literally, in the washing machine.
I don't know what they're making their non-iron pants from. Banana peels, maybe? I'm not going to find out.
Most of the non-iron shirts are from one manufacturer in Malaysia, they've refined the process so the material has a cardboard texture and drape without any of the breathability. Quite an accomplishment.
There's no such thing as a free lunch.
