Re: Drop in quality of the 'Inane Overdrive...' thread.

I think there's plenty of room here for old Weltie.  He's way more "ivy" than some of the other things I've seen on offer over at TI from time to time.  So he thinks I dress like a turd... that's just fine.  At least we can both agree that the I-Mods are ridiculous.  And in my opinion NOTHING should ever be above ridicule or critical inspection.  Most things are ridiculous, aside from great music.

Turds a bit strong WM. I think its dull and ages you but it always fits you.

And I did box your corner when Chens posted your picture on the Facebook Ivy Style page asking if you looked lame. Apart from the pants, I couldn't defend the pants, sorry.

Re: Drop in quality of the 'Inane Overdrive...' thread.

I don't think chens is a bad dresser, I wouldn't say he is an interesting one. And clothes don't got to hide who you really are only highlight it. So when Chens looks to be cool he can't really achieve it. Like I said put Soggs in the same outfit itd probably look cool. Going the other way Claudio makes outlandish outfits look cool. Because the bottom line is its his character. WM is in full geek territory but does it better than anyone ive seen. Brownshoe however like Patrick to me is an encapsulation of ivy as a person's particular carriage.

Another good example of that is Ocbd... he appears as his clothes do which is why it annoys me when soggs tells him to be more cool. .thats not what that look is about. Id argue Ox does his look better than anyone else

And just for the record the coolest person ever to wear Ivy was Montgomery Clift.

What I call a "total derpenheimer".

Not that chen's is a derpenheimer, but one that derps, is a derpenheimer.

Re: Drop in quality of the 'Inane Overdrive...' thread.

Vegans are among some of the most aggressive people ive met... im amazed they dont make up a larger proportion of the prison population. .. I suppose cannibals are probably more aggressive..  I guess you just have to avoid extremes
