Just received a pair. Postage was more than the jeans. Total cost is still not high. Arrived quickly.
Since there's some jeans talk at the moment, has anyone joined us Wranglers down at the H Bar P ranch? Updates from those hands that are riding high in the saddle? I found the hidden watch pocket on the 13MWZ.
update on my Wranglers: still loving them, for $20 you will not find a better pair of jeans.
Going to get another pair and hem them with my special surf hem this time ......
Re hidden watch pocket: nice try WM! But thanks a lot for turning us on to these.

My wife thinks they're super ugly, haha!
My girl doesn't like the wranglers either, she grew up in the Midwest so they remind her of farm dungarees... When I put them on she jokes about me being a farmhand... Lol
I like them for what they are - work pants for painting and doing housework, washing the car, tending the plants in my building's courtyard. But I rather have a couple of the LVC's at $85 since they are a much better fit.

Dom, I ordered the 936 "slim fit" rigid and as you can see above, they are anything but slim. I think they're a perfect straight cut (you could probably taper them up about a half inch at the hems depending on how you wanted to wear them) but I imagine the non-"slim fit" cut would be really drapey on me if the above photo is anything to go by. Anyhow, I'm very happy with the 936 slims. They look solid with canvas shoes as pictured, or mocs too. They were really meant to be worn with boots (they're western jeans afterall) so I wouldn't try pairing them with anything less casual than that. Are those really Wranglers in that photo above?? If so, wow! Who knew they'd eventually turn out resembling (in fade) something remotely like proper denim, haha. If I could wear out this smurfy looking blueberry dye, I'd be very happy. Good to know there's hope and something to look forward to! In all seriousness though, I'm very happy with them for the cost and would definitely recommend the 946 slim cut.
Just for reference, the ones I'm wearing in my latest ILSFT post are the 13MWZ. They're pretty slim. Not skinny, but slim.
Here's some more helpful info...

Pretty sure 936 and 13MWZ both have same leg opening. 936 just more slim through the thighs and booty.
wearing mine today in landscape architect mode ... my regular-fit 13MWZ are loose, roomy and surf/baggy on me and I like them that way. The color on the rigid indigo is fine and not Smurfy and I'm not relegating mine to the woodshed unlike the perfidious Senorservo2.0 who merely toyed with the affections of a pair of Wranglers only to cruelly ditch them a week later for a younger, hotter pair of Levi's '67 505s.
The Wranglers ain't got no fashion about em, that's for sure. Their price really does bring the suggested retail of the LVC and such into question. I mean, you can make 14.75 ounce rigid denim, with actual metal rivet construction, and sell it for $19... so what gives? Can't just be down to sourcing labor in Mexico...
Leer - from my experience the regular ones are quite slim.

Slighty off topic here but... can anyone tell me the difference in cut/ style etc... between modern standard Levi 505 and LVC "1967" 505 model jeans?
European customers ordering from Sheplers should be aware that - unlike DHL - UPS requires a hefty 'brokerage' fee in addition to tax/duty.
