Re: Wiggo gets knighted

Sporting Cyclists very hard to fit in suits, terrible posture, tennis players are really difficult as well, one arm is often much more bigger than the other and the shoulder blade causes problems. Boxers, wrestlers, football players and basketball players? Easy by comparison.

Re: Wiggo gets knighted

It would still be too big by my eye. It's also exacerbated by being a new suit and you can see how rigid the canvassing still is. Shoulder is probably a  little too wide front to back as well, but that is kind of symptomatic of the cyclist build I imagine.

Re: Wiggo gets knighted

Cloth looks like Mohair. I like the cloth.

Not keen on the velvet collar.

My tailor has a client who has all his Tweeds with a velvet collar and velvet trim above the hip pockets. Always though it looked best on women's tailoring rather than men's.

I like the the look of the suit that Weller is wearing in the 3rd picture, well what I can see of it. Very gangster.

Re: Wiggo gets knighted

I'm ok with velvet collar on tweed, that is a pretty relaxed look. In this circumstance it just seems weird.

It's kind of crunchy looking.  Doesn't have that soft, slouchy, slumpyfrump look us ivy boys like.  I type this as I sit in a white t-shirt and Wrangler jeans, with flip flops wedged between my socked feet.  No joke.  But at least my shirt's tucked in.

I tell you what I dont like about Mod, no matter how much people think it makes them look smart they still look like they should be  doing the entertainment at Butlins. Its such a cheapy shit look even when someone has thrown a load of money at it. If I was a mod id just buy soft Italian stuff or nice structured British stuff and slim it. All this ace face bollocky tonic suits look naff

I am no longer able to physically distinguish between Morrissey and the rapidly ageing Robbie Williams.

I find it amusing people talk about looking like a '30's gangster as if it were a bad thing.
