'Racism of Lower Expectation' is a new phrase on me, I wonder what it means.

It all begs the question what general universities are doing inviting ultra-orthodox nut-cases to speak to students in the first place!
It's the curious alliance of progressives, feminists and political Islam, very strong on campus now.
Aye, they have been bequeathed something that could turn into something quite horrid, and then there's the very nasty street drugs knocking around, not to mention having to live in your parent's box room forever!
Still, there's always William Blake and William Burroughs to guide you through the wilderness of this world.
When I say "progressive", I do of course mean gobshites.
We should only have non-sexed education and rights, it should matter not if people are male, female, black, white, gay, muslim or otherwise. We don't live in the dark ages any more. If people want to live under Islamic customs and law, can I suggest that fuck off to some shithole where they do live like that and leave the rest of us alone. A lot of this is down to the middle class PC army who bend over backwards to pamper to anyone who doesn't fit into English culture. If you don't like the way Blighty runs, then just fuck off. You won't be missed.
The British Left imploded decades ago, around the time of the Falklands War.
However, this is something of a storm in a teacup.
They should just boycott any speaker who requests separation of the audience by gender and let the ratbag lecture to an empty lecture hall.
Job done...
I have to say that I don't understand what these people are on about - what do they fear - orgies breaking out in lecture theatres? Or is it just control-freakery? If it is, as I suspect, control-freakery, the universities should be a true bastion against the boneheads trying to perpetrate it and it is mighty disappointing to see the identities of some of the institutions named and shamed as up for (at least) acquiescing in it.
The trouble is that bunches of toe-rags have shanghai'd the word 'liberalism' to do very illiberal things and they need to be exposed before it is all too late. I am not sure that it is just a storm in a teacup - it is a process of attrition and it eats away at true liberal principles until the masses believe that 'liberalism's' new identity is its true identity and they accept the principle that some arrogant, self-selected bastards do have some kind of right to call the shots.
The great irony is that these boneheaded control-freaks have all the zeal and passion of suffragettes chaining themselves to lamp-posts!
That's a great point liberalism is nothing without understanding the limits of your freedom. Ie. When you begin to encroach on other people's.
We should be free to act as we wish that's only achieved by allowing others the same right. And the way that happens is respect and compromise. It's not by imposing beliefs whether we think they are the best for people. Thats the problem with socialists, fascists and religious nut jobs.
The problem is the rot is already well established in a number of universities, including one(s) in London.
When a young impressionable fresher enters a culture where the religious bigots are already in command through a mixture of intimidation, racism of lower expectations, peer pressure and the strange alliance of progressives with political Islamism, then they are likely to back down and not throw rotten eggs. The process is ongoing and well supported financially. It has power that we ignore at great expense to social cohesion in the future, the policy of appeasement leads to war, or subjucation.
This is interesting and apt to teh current discussion:

It begs the question on the quality of graduates and the rigour of intellectual discourse in these "universities", if those who go there, are prone to becoming terrorists. Have they no reason?
But the police are there on campus now in increasing number and they are there because the universities have become infiltrated by radical groups who are peddling their poison to the young and gullible.
Employers are likely, and perhaps some already are (aha!) taking discretionary measures to ensure they do not recruit candidates from specific universities. Rightly or wrongly, I might add.

It's no secret that several London universities are subject to Islamic bullying and the Islamist agenda - do a Google search, plenty of intimidation going on, threats and debates being cancelled that don't fit in, or challenge the agenda.
It is indeed tragic Dudley, but we can take some succour that the police are stepping up their presence on campus for this very reason. But not that our seats of learning are so corrupted and debased with our offspring exposed to something so horrible and unimaginable a mere decade and a half ago.
I'm reading Coward’s diaries now, a great patriot and fine example of the jet-set when they were still travelling by ocean liners and prop aeroplanes. All of that is gone now, even the jet set. And as for Jimmy Stewart, few if any of us, measure up to this squadron leader.
There does seem to be cheapening of a lot of academic qualifications and I don’t just mean the grey brick establishments, some of the Russell Group universities seem to be churning out diplomas for the truly average. I’ve been recruiting for a position for some time now, I’ve already been through two MSc’s, the last one I had to terminate the contract at the end of the month’s probationary period. They had managed to consistently arrive at 9.45 – 9.50am each day. On telling them the reason I wasn’t extending their contract, they had the audacity to say I wasn’t honest with them, as I didn’t inform them that the lateness was a problem. If you have to tell someone who is brought in as a team leader that arriving an hour late every morning, when all your subordinates are already working, is not the done thing, then clearly you have the wrong person with no grasp of the reality of the work place.
And some of the covering letters and CV’s from graduates and post-graduates in the UK, truly shocking. I am convinced that specialist technicians holding industry specific qualifications and licenses is the way to go. Still, I’ve been persuaded by our UK office to give it one more round with universities they have connections with. We shall see.
There are of course, notorious diploma mills offering degrees based on life experience and the fact you’ve paid them a couple of hundred quid. One of the con artists I had my misadventure with a couple of years ago was very active on Linkedin with his fake credentials and Thailand implanted teeth, beaming like a beacon of corruption and centipede inspired schemes. This is the chap who had served 10 years for attempting to smuggle meta-amphetamine from Thailand to Switzerland and was and is, passing himself off as a professional in the oil & gas industry. Naturally, I am interested in which organisations are weak enough to employ such a nefarious character and charlatan, so I kept a regular watch on his progression on Linkedin. Anyway, one day, there it was, an MSc in Oil & Gas Project Management from Canterbury University (Seychelles) the notorious unaccredited, fake degree granting institution! So I snitched to Linkedin, informing them that this was a charlatan and the degree award was from a bogus institution and that this could damage Linkedin’s reputation. Within 24 hours, the gobshite was gone or banished from Linkedin.
