Bryan ferry made some very nice comments.
It's true what he said about the public suddenly seeing everything at fashion shows. The Internet has killed mystique and elan. Now, it's just 6 billion talentless voices all criticizing what they cant understand and all telling you they always understood it after they've picked your brain clean. Im thoroughly boring, and I'm annoyed and disgusted. Ii can only hope to return the favor this year.
fNB, after a long period of stability in your avatar, it's suddenly permutated a few times in a short while.
Anyways, new year and all that , thanks for this message board. It has actually added good moments to my life, and what more can a man ask for.
Thanks Formby.

In no particular order, other than to say that as FXH predicted I would come to love Shooey.
I am holding a bottle of Correyvrekan in my hand (will drain it tonight for sure) as I write this and raise it to all of you, Roxy Music loud in the background, after having read the post.

The wonderful quality of Price's designs for rock stars in the 70s and 80s, was that he gave more than a nod and a wink to the rich sartorial past, but also defined the future. No better ambassadors for this, than Ferry and Bowie. Although, as Price himself admitted, Presley was doing this first.
Today's rock 'n' roll needs a shot of this glamour and mystique like never before.
Red buttons?

Now that is Rock n Roll! Black crushed velvet suit with that would be the sort of look I'd admire on someone but not feel comfy in myself. I don't think I can pull anything off louder than a bit of Liberty flower type cloth.
Haha, well done formby.
