I always fancied a visit to Argentina with Montevideo as an add on from Buenos Aires.

The Baxters chicken & mushroom was the better pie option IMCO.
Uruguay had a terrible military junta in the mid 70's worse then Argentina's, something like 20% of the adult population were liquidated, dissapeared, incacerated and shot. The current crop of populist leaders down there, market themselves on being anti-Imperialist, anti-American and anti-Brit. They have to mak exceptions to Spain and Portugal of course!
